My Expert Service

I have worked with adults of all ages for 25 years. An important area of focus has been on the way people value themselves, their sense of self. Without self-esteem, we cannot have the confidence we need to achieve goals, or even to be as good to ourselves as we deserve. You can learn to identify feelings causing you to sabotage your efforts, rob yourself of a positive sense of self, give you the confidence you need to succeed. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email with a brief description of your situation and I'll let you know whether I can help you before any payment is involved.

Experience & Qualifications

I provided counseling outreach while at a community mental health clinic and am knowledgable about all types of mental illness including depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. I served as a Guardian ad litem for the Probate Court system, assessing the competency of persons with dementia and mental health issues. I worked with older adults and their families and caregivers. I counseled disabled high school students and helped them transition from a sheltered school environment. While under a contract with Vocational Rehabilitation, I evaluated students with learning disabilities who were graduating from high school to determine their need for assistive technology in higher education. At Project Aids I counseled people with HIV/AIDS. Prior to earning an MA, I worked as a Social Case Worker for Families with Children and with the Work Incentive Program.
