My Expert Service

I've been a Marriage and Family Therapist for 10 yrs. Here is a simple truth I've learned: Your self-esteem is the key to living your best life here and now. It's your birthright to be happy and successful. My approach to counseling is dynamic and practical. If you are reading this now, you have the opportunity to change for the better. Give me a call. You'll be glad you did.

Experience & Qualifications

I've been licensed for 10 yrs as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My scope of practice is in relationship issues. This includes relationships with others, and most importantly, yourself. My focus is on building self-esteem and confidence for the purpose of developing relationships that are happy and fulfilling. I use a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approach to therapy, so you can recognize and replace faulty, dysfunctional thinking with reality based, self-affirming thoughts and feelings. I teach my clients how to make action plans, set goals, and use tools like “thought logs”, “mood charts”, and journaling, to track their progress, gain insight, and turn it into positive change. I also specialize in helping people overcome “co-dependency”, and alleviating symptoms of post-traumatic stress that affect functioning fully in the present.
