Bipolar Disorder in all of its phases is a difficult thing to deal with whether you are the client or an involved person such as a spouse. I fully know the various ups and downs of this disorder. I have had a private practice since 1985 dealing with the individual and family in a broad spectrum of issues. I am a supervisor of therapists working with family violence, dissociative and addictive disorders. In addition I have taught psychology on the college level for many years and worked with the criminally insane in a state institution.
