My Expert Service

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) therapist who has been serving clients for the past 10 years. I have worked with families, children, adolescents, and young adults with varying diagnoses and issues (i.e. major depression, bipolar disorder, self-mutilation, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, chemical abuse and dependency). I am also a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC) and have extensive experience running substance abuse groups. These groups promoted prevention, intervention, and recovery among teens and young adults.

Experience & Qualifications

I began my career working with families who had adolescents using drugs/alcohol. I conducted individual and family therapy, as well as facilitating substance abuse and anger management groups. Currently, I am working in the crisis intervention field, performing evaluations on children and adolescents who are possibly in need of psychiatric hospitalization. Following hospitalization, I follow up with the family for intensive outpatient services, stabilizing the family or child, and preventing further need for hospitalization. I also operate GUARDIAN Youth & Family Counseling, a private group practice performing in-home therapy to families in need.
