My Expert Service

I am a LCSW and published author who specializes working with clients and families struggling with addictions, grief/tragic loss, and other life transitions (divorce, job change, move, loss of pet, etc.). I believe that nobody's story is too painful to be heard or healed. Contact me, and you will realize you are not alone; hope is always on the horizon. I believe that wherever there is breathe there IS hope, and I utilize this fundamental principle in my work with clients. My approach is empowerment-based and focuses on helping you help yourself to create the freedom and happiness you seek.

Experience & Qualifications

I am a dual mastered MSW and M.Ed who also practices as an advanced LCSW. My M.Ed. was obtained in December of 2001 from Loyola University Chicago and my MSW was obtained in May 2005, also from Loyola University Chicago. My undergraduate degree is in communications from Louisiana State University (1997). I'm a licensed therapist, published author, plenary panelist and consultant dealing with issues ranging from relationships to depression to tragic grief and loss and trauma. I've published over 40 articles, have been interviewed and featured for my work, and I am the author of 101 Substance Abuse Recovery Tips.

sorry. i could not stay. I dont know whats wrong with my drink. It feels toxic. but silly. i dont know. i trust myself. and there was more in that than liquid concentrace and wild oregano oil and dulse flakes...but no taste of anything at all. And i can usually taste even "tasteless" Benefiber...sorry. I am just a mess of worry and yet i do think i have valid reason...only not able with the pre-existing DID...even to stay enough make a doctor help me :( im starting from scratch. rule out the toxin. ill let you know. because all the things i put in that drink last night are not/were not a problem even last night...and dont believe anyone could possibly mutate that quickly?
