I am a licensed Psychotherapist therapist in Private Practice. My approach to therapy is a cognitive one (its all in the way we think). Every patient is viewed as a unique individual, we will directly identify and address the immediate issue and develop a solution focused plan. My practice is a general practice addressing a variety of issues and disorders including depressed mood, anxiety, stress, relationship issues and grief. I am quite directive and take an active role in each patient’s therapeutic session. Experience & Qualifications

I have been in private practice since 1993. In addition to this I have also worked as the Adolescent Clinical Coordinator and Director of Therapy in a Psychiatric hospital, Family Counselor for the school board (K-12) working with the emotionally challenged children, and in a crisis center working with pregnant and parenting teenagers and their families. With the adult population I have worked with issues concerning everyday living, most emotional and psychological issues, and psychiatric disorders such as Schizophrenia and Bipolar. I also have many years experience in Crisis Intervention and Critical Incident Debriefing. I work closely with the gay and lesbian population.
