I am focused on helping you: (1) think logically; (2) make decisions that are in your best interest; (3) make life choices based on your wants and needs and not based on the desires of others; (4) understand that while you can’t always control your emotions, others around you or what happens in the world you can control your reaction to an issue or situation; (5) make the smartest and most efficient life choices; and lastly (6) develop healthy coping skills to deal with stress.
I recognize when a client makes the choice to seek therapeutic advice that he or she does so out of great courage. My goal is to help you make the best possible choices regarding your life. Experience & Qualifications

I've had years of experience working with families, individuals, adults, adolescents and children. I have worked in a large array of various facilities including community mental health, college counseling and research centers. I’ve am currently teaching classes at the undergraduate and graduate level at a large, local university. In addition, for over four years, I’ve worked as a columnist answering weekly mental health questions for a large and well-respected psychology website.
