Degrees

I have an Ed.D. in Psychology Foundations (1997) and M.Ed. in Counseling (1983). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#C0500254) and Licensed Social Worker (#S0500570). Other qualifications include a state alcohol and drug counselor certification (1994, LIC#943864).

My Expert Service

I specialize in helping individuals, couples, adolescents and families affected by behavioral health disorders. I provide non-judgmental, effective solution-focused therapy for addressing relationship problems linked with depression, anxiety and stress, drug addiction, gambling, sexual addiction, gay and lesbian issues, women issues, spiritual issues, and beyond.

Experience & Qualifications

I have over 20 years as a trained professional mental health counselor working with families, individuals, groups and couples to promote optimal mental health and well-being. I use brief solution talking therapy which focuses on what you would like to achieve through therapy rather than on the problem(s) that caused you to seek help. Through the brief therapy approach, I want to encourage my clients to focus not on the past, but instead, focus on the present and future. I would like to work with you to find the best way to create the results you deserve. If I am not online and you desire a live chat session, please send me an email and we can arrange a live chat for later that same day.
