I provide counseling services in a safe and comfortable environment. Establishing a trusting patient/therapist relationship is a key factor leading to a successful therapeutic outcome. Using a "one size fits all" approach in therapy often produces less than satisfactory results. I have been trained in both traditional and modern methods of counseling. Though I prefer goal oriented approaches in therapy, A treatment plan is designed that is based on the presenting problem and your unique individual needs.
My clinical expertise is a result of practical "hands on" experience. In addition to maintaining a private practice, I have worked as a family therapist in a large school district and a physical rehabilitation specialist in a private hospital. I have been a consultant to major corporations providing them with stress reduction workshops and seminars on methods to improve employee productivity. I have extensive clinical experience in the following areas; Depression, Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Family & relationship Problems, Issues of Childhood, Stress Reduction and Chronic Pain.
