Experience & Qualifications

I worked for five years as a telephone counsellor for ChildLine working with children and young people; in primary care within the NHS (national health service) as a practice counsellor and now have a busy private practice where I work with all client groups and also with Employee Assistance Programmes for individuals who are off work through stress or accident. I also work with phobia, eating disorders, panic attacks etc.
I believe that all therapists must be aware of their own life experience and the impact it has on their work and therefore I have myself completed over 100 hours of therapy for myself, so that my clients can be completely confident that it is their needs I am addressing, not my own.
