My Expert Service

The client can expect a solution focused with a brief cognitive orientation in the therapeutic environment. My approach is proactive and directive. I'm passionate about what I do and believe that solutions and enjoy assisting clients resolve their own problems. Through a self-discovery process the client owns the solution, which enhances therapeutic success. Client will examine perceptions and attitudes related to the issues. Blame is counterproductive and is never assigned. Solutions can emerge very quickly. Yet, some problems require managing rather than resolution. Clients are taught sophisticated coping strategies to better manage sometimes "unfixable" stressors. The client is encouraged to set specific objectives and goals generally by the end of the first session. Using a brief therapy model, it is defined as finding the solution as expeditiously as possible. Within the therapeutic milieu, the client is also asked to identify the values that he/she expouses. Those values are then used to fortify other areas of the clients functioning. An individual's personal morality sometimes lies dormant, when frequently personal ethics and principles can be used as a strength to build upon in all areas of life functioning. It is also vital to explore the client's environment and examine home life dynamics in order to discover environmental strenghts within the client's system.
