I have 19 years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist as well 6 years as a life coach trained by MentorCoach. In addition I have had an academic career as university-based sociologist who pioneered a course in the sociology of human sexuality and taught it for 25 years.
Because of my academic background I am deeply familiar with the social science and psychological research on infidelity. It can have many causes and often be understood by both members of a couple in radically different ways. The key to coping lies in recognizing this often neglected reality and incorporating this knowledge into action to preserve, modify, or end a relationship.
As a therapist I have helped many people address infidelity and determine, with a clearer head, how to move forward.
