I have worked with people of all ages; individuals, couples and families for 30 years. I use brief insight, solution oriented and depth therapy. Dating and relationships have become more complicated. We are constantly available via cell phones and text messages. Technology makes the establishment of boundaries more difficult. Regardless of the way we meet, our age, or other demographics, human needs have not changed. We want to be able to trust and touch,and develop the confidence to love.

I provided counseling outreach while at a community mental health clinic and am knowledgable about all types of mental illness including depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
I served as a Guardian ad litem for the Probate Court system, assessing the competency of persons with dementia and mental health issues.
I worked with older adults and their families and caregivers.
I counseled disabled high school students and helped them transition from a sheltered school environment.
While under a contract with Vocational Rehabilitation, I evaluated students with learning disabilities who were graduating from high school to determine their need for assistive technology in higher education.
At Project Aids I counseled people with HIV/AIDS.
Prior to earning an MA, I worked as a Social Case Worker for Families with Children and with the Work Incentive Program.
