Young couples today face challenges that are made more complicated by our fast paced society. Choices are vast and the decision to settle into a committed relationship can be daunting.
I understand that young couples today face additional challenges that can disrupt the development of committed and stable relationships. I will work with you to help develop the communication skills needed for a long term bond. When couples are at different stages in their level of commitment to one another, communication and tolerance are essential. Insecurity and impatience can derail established connections unnecessarily. Therapy facilitates the development of empathy for the other, which helps to guide the development of committed and stable relationships.
Utilizing an eclectic approach to therapy, I will provide you with counseling & support specific to your individual needs and goals.

Experience & Qualifications

During my ten years of experience working in the mental health field, my work has focused on adolescents and college & graduate school students in their 20's & 30's, and those dealing with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and relationship difficulties. My training includes clinical social work as well as psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
