Please Note
Online counseling is not appropriate for all kinds of problems. If you have suicidal thoughts, it's important that you seek help immediately. You are not alone. If you are located in the US, call
1-800-784-2433 or 911 and ask for help. If you are outside the US, look here to find the support hotline in your country and area.

Degrees

I have two masters degrees in psychology and counseling fields as well as the post-graduate degress of an Ed.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a licensed professional counselor.

My Expert Service

Chronic stress is an issue with many people in our society. Given the current economic conditions, existing stressors may be compounded. This can put incredible strain on relationships. It's very important for those who are at risk to reach out and get help for the issues that may threaten a relationship and for the anxiety and depression that can result. Therapy can help. Therapy is a collaborative process. I work with my clients to help them achieve their goals and I frequently ask them if they are getting what the need. I am available to provide brief, solution-focused therapy or more intensive insight-focused therapy for clients who are on the journey to discover who they are and what they want from their lives. My style is compassionate, casual and professional.

Experience & Qualifications

I have been in private practice for most of my career. Much of my private practice is devoted to couples' counseling. I help clients work through issues of infidelity, separation, divorce, and family of origin patterns. Yes, one person can be involved in couples' therapy! If your partner isn't interested, but you are, call.
