My name is Karen and I provide a motivational, client centered approach to counseling. Depending on your individual needs will determine the method of therapy. Most sessions will be geared toward healthy relationships, self-awareness, acceptance, self-concept, change and problem solving. My goals are to offer possible solutions for individuals and their families and to promote health and well being.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of counseling and treatment experience. I have sponsored a number of marriage workshops, for couples to explore and strengthen their relationships. I have also worked with families and individuals effected by self esteem, conflict resolution, stress/anger management, co-dependency, domestic violence, substance abuse, HIV, communication, and relationship issues. I also have trauma and treatment experience in crisis and disaster, death and grieving, childhood sexual abuse, PTSD, and depression.

My first session and we have covered so much. I like her technique. She doesn't leave a stone unturned. She gathers information and comes up with a plan in a reasonable amount of time. I will be continuing with Karen. Very impressive.

Karen is the kindest liveperson counselor in the world. she is wonderful and really wants to see you get better and can't be compared to any other counselors in here. She is the best and really wants to see me get better. Thank you so much Karen for saving my life, time, and also money.
