I have had my LPC for 5 years. I recently starting providing supervision for counselors. I have a wide variety of experience and have worked as a counselor for 7 years.

My specialties include: relationship/marital/intimacy therapies, life change issues, and child/adolescent issues. My professional training has included counseling experience with children, adolescents, and adults in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. I have utilized individual, group and family therapy approaches.
The theoretical orientation that I operate by is an eclectic combination of several models. I use cognitive behavioral models as well as a client-centered approach. Some techniques that I use are relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, deep muscle relaxation and guided imagery. I also use play therapy with children.
