I am currently in private practice in West Hollywood, CA where my focus is Psychotherapy and Sex Therapy with Individuals and couples. I have supervised several interns as well.
I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2004, with a Master of Art's degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I became Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in December 2006.
I graduated from San Francisco State University in 1995 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Human Sexuality. In 1993, I began my clinical work as an Art Therapy Intern at Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute at The University of California San Francisco, where I worked with the adult patients on the locked unit dealing with issues like Schizophrenia, psychosis, and Bi-Polar/Major Deperssion. This is also where I began my work with the transgender population as well.
I have worked extensively with urban youth in South Central Los Angeles, dealing with issues such as drugs, gang violence, teen pregnancies and various other issues. I have done extensive work with individuals and families affected by HIV/Aids, sexual abuse survivors, drug addiction, sex offenders and families of sex offenders. I have worked in conjunction with child protective services with foster children and families to dealing with issues of physical, emotional and sexual abused. I have also worked with Developmentally Disabled adults in a vocational setting, and Special Ed kids in a recreation setting.
