I have worked for many years as a teacher and guidance counselor in public and private schools, as well as having my own private practice. I have training and experience dealing with adolescents and family dynamics. I have raised two sons and have worked as a volunteer in many organizations geared to child development. In my practice I have offered family and individual counseling services, and have specialized in adolescents for the past four years. I have two Masters of Education degrees as well as being a Licensed Professional Counselor. My approach to handling the concerns of raising adolescents is a common sense one that enables parents to use their own parenting styles, while implementing proven tools and methods that improve the relationship parents have with their children while at the same time encouraging their children towards success.
