Every night when we go to sleep we spend part of the night dreaming or in the dream state. We may not remember anything about our dreams but we all have them.
Not all our dreams have profound meaning. Dreams are thought to be our subconscious minds way of dealing with the events of the day and any unresolved issues that may arise.
Often if we have a decision to make or a problem to solve we have all been told "to sleep on it". So the idea is that we pass the problem on to our higher selves or, to a power higher than ourself.
