Feng Shui (also known as Kan-Yu, meaning "The Law of Heaven and Earth") is the ancient Chinese art of manipulating one's environment to generate a more even flow of "qi" or energy.
If our environment is cluttered, our lives will be cluttered. Reducing some of the clutter improves our environments and standard of living. When our homes are cluttered, it stymies the natural flow of energy around us, often preventing us from moving forwards, and affecting our outlook on life.
Thousands of years ago, Chinese villagers would rely on "Folk Feng Shui". This was determined by land formations and the natural movements of the wind or water. Good feng shui ensured good crops, healthy livestock and prosperity. Bad feng shui, however, would produce the opposite.
Energies are usually aligned with the cardinal points and with the elements. This is important for moving with the qi flow rather than against it.
This is essentially where Feng Shui will help you. If your environment is configured correctly to allow a smooth qi flow, your overall quality of life will be improved.

I've been interested in the "natural paths" and "naturopathic remedies" since I was young, pursuing balance, inner peace and harmony.
We are often influenced by our emotions, environment and external influences, which prevents us from moving forwards in life. Over the years, I've developed several methods to reduce the clutter, including around the home, to give a sensation of well-being and peace. Once the surrounding energies are calmer, feeling less claustrophobic and stressful, you will start feeling better about yourself. This will be projected outwards, towards others, and a more positive lifestyle will result.
