I first picked up a tarot deck in 1987, having been drawn in by the lovely pictures on the cards. I had no idea what the cards were, and thought to take them home and frame them. I took the deck home, flipped through the little booklet that came in the box, decided to "play around" with it, and did a few readings that were so accurate they scared me into putting the deck away for two years.
Thankfully, I grew braver. And thankfully I kept the cards! I have read tarot with purpose since 1990, and have advised many people since that time.
My philosophy regarding tarot is simple: Tarot is a tool for better understanding ourselves and those who come to us for help. I use tarot to give clients insight into current circumstances, and the past influences that have contributed to these circumstances. When we understand how we came to be where we find ourselves, it becomes easier to be self-directive and get to good places in our lives.
I also generally give insight into possible future directions and happenings. Please understand -- futures are not predetermined! I recommend that clients consider any future information provided as well-informed advice. Use this information in a "forewarned is forearmed" manner, so that you can move toward desired futures and away from what would be better avoided.
Because of this philosophical stance, I will never give you a "promise" that something specific in the future will happen. Futures become more or less likely largely in relation to what we do in the present. You can maximize or minimize the chances of something happening, even to a degree of near-certainty, but nothing is ever guaranteed.
Please note that I strongly prefer doing readings via email. This gives me the ability to sit with and concentrate on the layout of the cards, and to pay close attention to the interplay of influences, without charging you for these minutes of silence. Email readings are MUCH more economical as a result. Also, every email reading includes the option of a followup three- or five-card clarification of one matter that comes up in the reading itself for a reduced charge of $10. Clients requesting a follow-up reading should do so within 48 hours of the original reading's being sent to them. Only one discounted follow-up reading question is allowed.
For very complex situations which may require protracted readings, many clarifications, or subsequent readings at given intervals on a schedule, please email for a package rate.

In addition to reading tarot, I am also trained as a family specialist and hold advanced degrees in this area (MA and Ph.D.)
I am able to read for you regarding any question you may have, but am especially skilled in matters of love and romance. My secondary specialty is in other family relationships and general family dynamics (including but not limited to issues of inheritance, power issues, conflict, and sibling rivalry). Workplace relationships (romantic or not!) are also one of my strengths.
