“I believe that through the counseling process Children and Adolescents, Families and Adults' lives and relationships can be changed. I have seen growth, health, and self-sufficiency in the lives of those I work with. Through a positive, encouraging environment people can overcome the difficulties that are interferring with their lives. My focus is to meet my client's where they are at and help them to achieve their goals. I utilize a variety of different approaches to this end including cognitive-behavioral interventions, solution-focused, family counseling, and psychoanalytic.
I believe counseling to be a process where change is fostered and embraced. It is important to me that each invidvidual, as well as their experiences, are valued and heard. My hope is that the tools and skills developed through the counseling process will lead to a fulfilling, satisfying life.
