deej feels the reunion (with my ex) i have hoped for, for 3 yrs in feb, is on the horizon. whoa. what a journey!!! but despite the many twists and turns this road has taken....i have learned so much. when i met my ex, i had been on my own raising my daughter, for 16 yrs. after so long...i was totally *rusty* about men and relationships. i'm not much better now...haha...but i have gained so much self-confidence. i should say *regained* as being *dumped* by someone you are madly in love with, does a number on one's self-esteem. i now *know* i do not really NEED anyone. i believe my ex will be one lucky man when he does return. i have always had a great deal to give, but i erred on the side of being overly accommodating. when i met my ex, i had just recovered from 2 months in a rehab hospital, after ending up in a wheelchair due to a severe exacerbation of multiple sclerosis. man....what could i expect? i have always had extreme expectations of myself. suffering can be a great teacher, if we allow it. no more *grovelling* for this girl.
