10/8/07 Set it free!
Remember the saying that goes if you love something set it free? This is a practice that is so helpful in
our life journey. Sometimes we become inpatient. We
want immediate results, we become anxious waiting for
progress. This does us no good. We cannot will or
force the desired results, in fact when we become
impatient it actually causes a reverse effect.
Anxiety, worry and impatience all put out negative
vibrations that in turn draw even more negativity to
us. We must learn to trust in the universe. Trust in
our guides and our higher power that knows all. As
earthlings we cannot see the whole picture, we only
see the one side of the looking glass, we must realize
that there is a whole side we cannot see! When you are at a
loss and feel that your hopes are gone, ask your guides
for help. Ask them for guidance and clarity. Tell them
you are open to their love and assistance. They will
carry you through with a feeling of comfort and the
knowledge that everything will be OK. So when you are
anxious and waiting, make your request to the
universe. Do not dwell on it, ASK AND THEN LET IT GO.
Trust that you have put it out there and results will
come back to you. We must constantly move forward, to
remain stagnate waiting will only stunt your spiritual
growth which causes pain and unhappiness. Have faith that the universal white light
takes care of all things. Picture yourself surrounded
by it's warmth. Once you learn to "Let it go" and
trust, you will be able to move forward and your
spirit will progress, which is the goal for all of us!
Some Words on Free Will
An important message about free will versus fate! If you believe that your life is completely dictated by fate and that only the cards or the stars can guide you, you are mistaken. We all have free will, and can change our "fates" any time. Most of us, however, go with the "line of least resistance" in our lives, and continue to follow along with the natural flow of things without resistance. Oddly enough, this is partly why psychics are able to predict future likelihoods. I use the word "likelihoods" because that is exactly what each reading is: a likelihood. Not a scenario cast in stone, not a certainty, not an absolute. Merely a likelihood. With free will, you can change any likelihood you see, and thus change your "fate" (and the outcome of the reading as well). Readings are intended as a guide to help you make changes to control your own life, not as a roadmap to blindly follow.
