"I am Canadian Born, Raised, & Proud. I have two fairly distinct Heritages...My Father's side is Celtic, My Mother's is Gypsy. Unfortunately my Father's family is very small, and has few standing Spiritual or Cultural Traditions. My Mother's side on the other hand is very large and very rich in Culture. It is therefor primairily with this culture that I identify myself.
Neither I, nor my Mother, nor my Grandmother travel as a way of life any longer, though my Grandmother & Mother did some before they came to Canada.
When I say my Mother's side is rich in Culture, I mean that to a deeper degree than most people could be aware. At the age of four I began learning Herbalism, Crystal Healing, Scrying & General Family Traditions. Not everyone in my family learns as much as I have, or is as innately Spiritual as I am. I am lucky, I am one of the few people who never lost myself...and I am one of the lucky few who was born into a family that didn't force me to do so, but instead nurtured me and my natural talents. It is because of simply who I am that My Family began when I was at such a young age to teach me and guide me on my Spiritual Path. When I was four I was already Communing with Trees, speaking to Spirits, talking about my Past Lives, making Predictions, and giving advice to people about things they had never spoken about around me. Now, many years later, I am a High Priestess of My Tradition (Spheric Wicca - as my Family Tradition is called now that it has been opened beyond Family), and believe in Walking My Path Daily, not just in Circle. Psychism & Magick are as much a part of me as blood & breath. I have persued nothing else with my life...I live a life of Learning, Healing (I have studied & work with many techniques, and am a certified Reiki M/T), Helping, Sharing, Guiding & Magick.
For several years now I have owned an 'Occult' Shop ("Gypsy Curiosa: Magick & Gifts..."). I have recently begun the process of takeing my Shop completely Online. I have a Shop and charge for my Services because we live in a Society in which one must make money...which therefor I do, but I do this as a career so that I can focus on the Spiritual and helping people all day every day. I also 'teach' (I prefer the term fascilitate, though most people don't understand that) Classes locally and Online. Sometimes I will also do Spells for, or preferably with, people who feel they are not ready to Cast for themselves but who wish Positive Magick to be working in their lives. I believe that our species is undergoing a remembering. Every day Spiritual practices that were generally long ago forgotten by society are becomming 'popular'. You can now buy Yoga Tapes, Organic Snacks, and sometimes Aromatherapy Candles at your local drug store. This is a very good thing. People are re-attuning themselves with the Spiritual & Natural World. I enjoy the fact that daily I am helping people with this remembering, and helping them find their True Path of Heart.
