My Expert Service
|

Having an undergrad degree in Literature and a post-grad diploma in Marketing, I started my career with a newspaper where I was selling advertising space. From there I moved on to the internet space at the height of the dotcom bust as one of the early employees. This company has now gone on for an IPO and given considerable benefits. Post this experience I worked with a US based IT services company from India Manager of Corporate Affairs. Followed this up with managing Affiliate Relations with a leading US Media organization working in SE Asia and heading entire South-Asia. I moved on to working with the world's #1 soft-skills training company starting licensing operations in a new region.
This was followed by an MBA in general management from USA followed by setting up an education insitution in the Middle-East.

Experience & Qualifications

Worked across industries like start-up internet servies, multinational IT organizations and media organizations along with the human resource industry in the softskills business and education. Experience across industries shows that business principles underlying industries are the same. The nuances are different. Having worked as a core teams memeber starting organizations and taking them up to growth phase to being a cog in the wheel of a well-oiled multinational has helped me carve out my niche. I like building and creating companies and my MBA elective was on "Managing Emerging Growth Companies" and how to cross the wall which you almost always hit at a point on whether to move on or get taken over or fizzle out.
What gets a company to X-level will never ever take it to the Y-level. The skill-sets, team and attitude required are very different. I can help you decide where you are and how you should move ahead with what objective. All areas of business are inter-related and as a SME owner this inter-dependence becomes even more important.
