Experience & Qualifications

|
I wrote the gritty Sundance hit BETTER LUCK TOMORROW which was released by MTV Films/Paramount in 2003. That same year I also wrote the Oscar-nominated short film JOHNNY FLYNTON ("Best Short - Live Action"). In 2004, I sold a one-hour drama called STATE to the WB network with Aaron Spelling. In 2005, I was hired by Universal to write OLDBOY, an adaptation of the acclaimed Korean film. Last year my one-hour television pilot, GONERS, was sold to Touchstone Television with Courteney Cox and David Arquette; and my sci-fi thriller REPLAY was optioned by ArcLight Films last March. In addition to the above, I work as a "script doctor" for studios and production companies and my directorial debut, LITTLE BONES, had its world premiere at the 2008 HBO NY Latino Film Festival. I am currently working on two screenplays (one paid, and one on spec) and developing a one hour television drama based on a successful memoir.
