I am experienced in work as a communication designer and usability analyst, seeking practice in my field and additional portfolio work. I can take on a wide range of projects, including as web design, interaction design, identity systems, usability analysis, illustration, video/photo editing, Flash projects, programming (prefer HTML, CSS, Java, VB, but can learn more). I have worked in game design and am experienced at 3D modeling (prefer Maya).

Worked two summers as a usability analyst/interface designer at VMware. Conducted usability research and created new user interfaces for existing VMware products such as VirtualCenter and VMware Player. Worked in collaborative teams to improve software functionality and design/
Worked two years as design/technology coordinator at Bonhomme Presbyterian Church. Helped launch new contemporary service by designing lighting, multimedia, promotional materials, designing newsletter, and branding images. Installed technical equipment and wrote documentation for its use
Have taken on a wide variety of freelance work, including a certification redesign project for the Center for the Application of Information Technology at Washington University in St. Louis.
Recently took Building Virtual Worlds Project Course at the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University. Built five virtual reality worlds, each incoportaing different aspects of virtual reality technology, in a multidisciplinary team of graduate students. Each world was designed, tested, and demonstrated to an audience.
