Security ShieldAt LivePerson, we fully understand the value of the business and customer information you store with us and the processes that we manage for you. We are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and the privacy of your customer data, and to supporting your compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The many security measures we employ reflect our total commitment to your protection.

We have a dedicated security team, headed by a Chief Security Officer (CSO), who works to make sure that all our security measures adhere to the highest possible standards and that security is embedded in all processes within the LivePerson environment. As our infrastructure grows and evolves, this team is charged with meeting and exceeding your security demands and safeguarding the privacy of your business and customers.

Privacy

All information handled by LivePerson is considered private and subjected to the highest levels of security:

  • Communication between the visitor, agent and LivePerson servers can be encrypted with 128bit SSL V3 /TLS 1.0 using a trusted public certificate authority.
  • Storage encryption is available as an option.
  • Our service and platform are tested for security vulnerabilities on a regular basis, by running both network and application-level scans and penetration tests.
