Over 17 years of ample experience in the complete electrical design phase of grass-root facilities, infrastructure, expansions, site development and renovations. Types of projects include industrial, high voltage distribution, pharmaceutical, biochemical, hygienic-sterile, chemical plants, institutional, commercial, residential, governmental, waste treatment plants, hotel/resort facilities and cogeneration projects. Project sites include Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, the Continental US, and Latin America.
Professional experience includes management activities such as manpower planning, technical supervision and assistance to engineers and designers, project planning, proposal preparation, direct client relationship, project management assistance, and marketing efforts. Engineering activities include preparation of complex drawings, detailed specifications and reports, calculations, vendor drawings’ approval; construction cost estimates, permitting process, requisitioning and bids evaluation, construction support, and purchasing. Active participation in discipline and office standards development and leading of technology application. Broad experience in the application of computer-aided analysis and design of lighting and power systems, short circuit and coordination, including CAD softwares.
