Experience & Qualifications

I basically grew up helping my mother refinish antiques she'd bought. Then, my brother and a partner opened a very successful furniture refinishing and on site touch-up business geared more towards large corporate business'. This is where I learned how to touch-up damaged wood, as well as broadened my knowledge in refinishing, glazing and so forth. I later went out on my own doing strictly on site touch-up. I had a contract with maintaining a large upscale office complex's doors, wooden elevator walls and sometimes desks/conference tables for clients within the complex. I also had contracts with two moving companies. I later worked for a man who only worked with antiques. This is where I learned how to refurbish antiques, versus refinishing them.
