When the student is ready the teacher will appear. This is my story, and I'm sure many others...I have had an intuitive and empathic nature all my days. I sought out to work in the field of healing years ago, but became discouraged by traditional medicines' approach ~ treating symptoms, and at a physical level only most often - unfortunate. So, I began to search alternative modalities. Nutrition - Herbs - Massage Therapies (several modalities) - and also (so far) Energy Work i.e. Reiki ~ Sound Healing. I believe that along with an incorperation of many thought processes one can be well as a rule ~ rather than acute reactionary treatment, or a level of maintained chronic dis-ease. First, the person who wishes healing must be proactive, and their own best advocate ( on every level - both traditional and alternative healing). Second, most illnesses didn't occur overnight; therefore, allow yourself time to heal (treating a symptom gives the illusion of cure). Energy work is only a part of "wellness" ~ lifestyle and choices in perception are essential for a balanced abundant life. Mind ~ Body ~ Spirit
