My Expert Service

My goal in teaching is to inspire the desire and passion to learn. I think it is essential to a complete and holistic understanding of the psychology of man to include elements of the specific areas of psychodynamics, humanistic, existential, dispositional and learning theory. Determinism verses free choice, pessimism verses optimism, causality (past) verses teleology (future), conscious verses unconscious, biological verses social, and
uniqueness verses similarity are aspects of every psychological theory and application.
The main purpose of my research is to participate in what seems to me a revolutionary time to be involved in psychology. I believe it is part of the responsibility and privilege of psychologists to prepare and disseminate psychological information in a manner that presents both the responsible and balanced strengths and weaknesses in applications of the quantitative and qualitative philosophies. Successful applications require more than good method and theory; they must translate into confrontation with the real-life of complicated interactions, the chaos of multiple influences, and vulnerable, real-life people (Palmer, 1998).
