Experience & Qualifications

17 years of experience working with adults, teens, and children in outpatient, residential treatment, school, and private practice settings. Current areas of expertise in my private practice of thirteen years include mood and anxiety disorders, couples therapy, family-of-origin and abuse issues, anger problems, sexual abuse victim and sexual offender issues, self-abusive issues, self-esteem difficulties, gay and lesbian issues, and issues related to children, adolescents, couples, and families. Prior experience includes providing individual, couple, family, child, and adolescent therapy in an outpatient, Rule 29 clinic. Also provided group, individual, and family therapy in an outpatient, adolescent sex offender treatment program, and developed and led ten children's educational and support groups every week in elementary school settings.
