I studied fine arts from sculpture to printing at college and then went on to be trained and qualified as a shoe designer.
The advent of cheap Chinese imports saw me move to interior design where the company I worked for trained us extensively in sales. I became number one salesperson regionally and number two nationally.
I was poached by a national furniture store and given a branch. I was the youngest branch manger in the history of the company at 24. In four years my store was the number one ranking store in the country. The group sold and I moved to interior decorating and sub contracting.
My project management experience and the challenges faced by small business became clear and I built up a challenging business.
Severe dose of West Nile Fever and almost loosing my life made me change my business and reinvent myself to work smarter and not so hard.
I continued on projects and became considered an expert in my fields. The list of projects completed grew to include The Office of the state President, national government, region municipalities and a host of corporate and private clients some of whom are still with me today.
I was shot six times in a robbery and reinvented myself as a mentor and project developer preferring to work in the background and develop the guts of a business.
My latest projects include.
a fleet of 60 mobile clinics.
A 65hecatre hydroponic controlled environment agriculture technopark.
A franchise for a estate agent that combines bond origination services.
My experience includes many other projects from animation for an award winning children s dvd to video on demand, and a client who is a concessionaire at the airports and provides in flight catering. I write their tenders and am the ghost writer for the company director.
