I am one of only about 800 US gynecologic cancer experts certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have been involved in academic medicine, research and patient care at major American universities for over 40 years. I am now semi retired with a wealth of experience accumulated over a long active career in treating difficult gynecologic problems and female gynecologic cancer. My special expertise is in the surgical treatment of fibroids of the uterus, large ovarian tumors as well as cancers of the vulva, vagina, cervix, uerus, ovaries and gestational trophoblastic disease, in addition to venereal warts (condylomas), HPV vaccine and the relationship to cervical cancer. I am also well versed in the chemotherapy and radiation therapy of these conditions. During my long practice, I was frequently called to the operating room to aid in difficult gynecologic procedures, and was often the consultant of last resort for unusual and intractable gynecologic conditions that may have defied prior attempts at treatment.
