My Expert Service
|
|
Let me introduce myself, my name is Helen Hipp I am a life coach and psychotherapist . By business is WithinU Life Coaching. I have worked in the human services field as a successful advocate for individuals with special needs and their families over twenty years, authored articles that have appeared in Family Works Magazine and Washington Family Magazine, as well as contributed as a special needs consultant to FOX44 News in Burlington, Vermont.
My area of expertise is working with adults, adults with special needs and their families. I practice from a rich background of personal and professional experiences, creative expression and cognitive behavioral techniques. I work with my clients by implementing a client-centered and strength-based approach that is both holistic and creative. My approach is to act as a mirror for clients, reflecting information to them with great clarity—including the aspects they cannot see for themselves so they can gain a deeper understanding of who they are, what's blocking them from what they want, and how to move past those obstacles.
The Beliefs that are the Foundation of My Practice
~ That individual’s “must be courageous enough to explore their own inner frontier” to be more effective and engage lasting change in their lives.
~ Resiliency and a positive attitude are the foundation for health and happiness, and that makes anything possible.
~ Using a diagnosis as a suggestion, a springboard for possibilities, not a straightjacket.
How can coaching benefit me?
Life coaching helps those who are ready to put forth the effort required to expand their options, access their potential, and rise above their fears. You benefit by creating positive changes that give you a renewed sense of stability and purpose.
