My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, 22 graduate-level units in mathematics and a certificate in Web development. In addition to work in electrical engineering, I have been a graduate teaching assistant in mathematics at a university, a math tutor at a community college, and a private tutor. My tutoring work experience totals approximately four years. My students have done well. I have watched them progress through more and more difficult courses, and have often been complemented for my patience in my work with them.

I have several years of experience as en electrical engineer which gave me the opportunity to use my skills in a practical setting. More recently, I was enrolled in the graduate program in mathematics at the University of Southern Mississippi. During this time, I worked as a graduate teaching assistant. My primary duty was tutoring students in any and all undergraduate math classes offered. Most students needed help with college algebra, so I have the most experience in that subject area. However, I also tutored students in trig, calculus, mathematics for education majors and other classes. Later, while studying Web development at Cochise College, I worked at the math lab. There, most students needed help with intermediate and college algebra, but I also tutored students in developmental level classes. I have also done tutoring on a private basis.
