I have over 25 years experience working in and with not-for-profit organizations. I can provide you with advice, direct you to free or low-cost resources, provide training and edit grants and other organizational documents. I work primarily in the ares of Funding Development and Grant Writing; Program Planning, Assessment and Evaluation; and Organizational Enhancement such as Board Development, Strategic Planning and Outcome Measurement.

I have 14 years experience in nonprofit development consulting and training serving Broward and Miami-Dade Counties (Florida). My experience includes developing programs, funding and training for HIV/AIDS service organizations, designing and funding juvenile justice programs, writing multi-million dollar federal applications in the field of community health, developing a cultural arts organization, time as a National Director of Technical Assistance for a youth-serving organization including the coordination of Expansion Centers throughout the United States, and work with the United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Substance Abuse to develop a Task Force to Combat Underage Drinking.

* Economic Opportunity Family Health Center - federally funded community health services; dental, school health, childcare, substance abuse and HIV/AIDS, wrote proposals securing $20M in federal funding
* Youth Crime Watch of America - international youth empowerment services in crime, violence and substance abuse prevention
* South Beach Chamber Ensemble - cultural arts organization, tripled funding
* Union Positiva - HIV/AIDS service organization focusing on Latino/a populations, established 2 new multiple year federal funding sources
