As the Executive Director of a business improvement district, I produced the Solano Avenue Stroll for 16 years which is the largest street festival in the SF East Bay area and was put into the Library of Congress as a National Local Legacy. I currently produce 4th of July for the City of Berkeley; the Chocolate & Chalk Art Festival and Fashion, Food & Wine both in the Gourmet Ghetto; Persian New Year; and Berkeley's Holiday Tree Lighting Festival. I have been awarded a proclamation from the City of Berkeley for my work as well as being honored in Wash., D.C. for the Solano Stroll when it was declared a National Local Legacy. I am a very creative person and come from an art background - I was a ballerina for the first half of my life. I sit on numerous boards and am well-connected to potential sponsors.
