- 6 Years experience in Systems Administration of one form or another. Have administered Solaris, SCO OpenServer5, AIX, Novell Netware 3 servers and Solaris, Win98, WinNT, and Win2000 client workstations.
- Currently run a network of Solaris boxes with about 1000 active users and about 60 separate machines of various sizes, this involves frequent Perl programming, and operation of an Oracle7 DBMS, Tivoli Storage Manager server in addition to the OS configuration and operations.
- Have run a Linux workstation at home since 1993.
- Done contract consulting in Linux solution installation, C and Fortran programming, etc.
- Contract programmer on off for the same period of time.
