Anyone with a deck and a How-To book can give you a basic Reading; it takes an experienced Reader to interpret the subtle messages the cards hold.
The Tarot holds a wealth of Information --much more than is easily apparant in the lovely artwork. Each card, when spread next to or near others, subtly changes the meanings of both. Some cards reverse their meanings, depending on how and when they lay.
I've been reading and interpreting the Tarot for nearly 40 years. I travel a varied and most interesting Path-- this Life Experience adds a unique depth and humor to my Readings (or so they tell me).
I'm not doing this to get rich but I do need to feed the cats, (Leroy gets cranky when he misses a meal), so my fees are fair and, I hope, affordable. We can always negotiate:)
Unless specifically requested, I spread and interpret the Celtic Cross layout. This involves ten cards and provides the Querant a brief review of her Past, a breath of clarity on her Present and a peek into her Future.

Since then I've only given the rare Reading, usually for friends who crave advice; sometimes I receive referrals and do readings on that basis, as well. Of course I still spread my own cards often enough to keep my so-called 'chops' up to my own high standards.
