I've been doing algebra since I was in grade school and I found my parents' high school and college textbooks (I was a lonely kid), so I can help you with telling your x's from your y's (and what they equal).

My father was an actuary, and he filled the basement of the house with math books, and mom kept her high school and college textbooks.
I knew algebra and geometry at a high school level by fourth grade. I was doing logarithms at a college level by sixth grade. I was doing calculus before I started high school.
I slept through math class in high school, and my teachers knew it and let me, because I always aced the tests anyway. They knew they weren't teaching me anything I didn't already know. I never got less than an A+ on any math course between grade school and college.
And, with my help, I hope to offer others the chance for the same. But you probably shouldn't sleep through math class.
