Ten years experience as a research scientist in large world-class laboratories. Expertise mainly in the fields of solid-state physics, materials development, rheology, ceramics and metallurgy. Particular emphasis on materials for renewable energy applications (solar hydrogen production, oxygen transport membranes, solid-oxide fuel cells). Expertise in experimental characterisation techniques (electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, sintering, photoelectrochemical testing, optical spectroscopy, thermal analysis, vacuum deposition). Also can offer advice on the use of LaTeX typesetting program.
