Internet Research and SQA Analyst
Research and qualify company URLs as supplied by Spider Team Lead for robot build using the Kapow interface. Build and issue blocks of qualified URLs to developers for robot build. Ran robots through strict Quality Assurance process and either deployed to live server or returned to developer with instructions for rebuild, completion or additional code.
Became proficient in robot building, maintenance, repair, deployment, run scheduling and training of new developers.
Promoted to Manual Quality Assurance Analyst 2006.
Carried out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services met minimum company standards and end user requirements. Thoroughly tested software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Documented all problems and worked to resolve them; reported progress on problem resolutions to management and development. Volunteered to pursue a specialty in the Individual Fund Tracking module (IFT), a budget and accounting tracking system, which involved working closely with development of complex “fluid” code. Tested modules against strict business rules and configuration requirements. Functional and regression testing skills required on QA and UAT platforms to push new “in draft” code to production. Use of SQL 2005 also required testing data results.
I also have many years of experience in all phases of accounting and bookkeeping. I attended the ADP training program and hold certificates in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and tax reporting.
