I started in this industry in 1974 after a brief venture as a retailer I established a successfull independent sales rep. agency,during that period from 1974 to 1990 I helped groom many small start up companies to become profitable and suppliers to many large and medium size chains and dept. Stores. I even worked as a direct agent for retail customers sourcing products both domestically and from abroad for their private label programs....
In 1991,I decided to stop representing anyone else and provided my own financing ,so that I also owned the firm ,I sold and marketed for.I have handled all aspects of the business from design,costing,sourcing,production,distribution,as well as financeI have since closed my business and I now work as a consultant....
