My foremost priority is to help my students develop self esteem and give them a sound basic understanding of the subject matter that we cover. I will engage my students in lively online tutoring sessions. I have many years of expertise in both public school teaching as well as private and online tutoring. My subject areas include English, grammar, public speaking, creative writing, spelling, elementary and middle school math, Spanish, reading comprehension and all other areas of Language Arts. I am a highly qualified tutor having had a lifelong penchant for helping others to learn. I began my teaching career at the age of 21 and have been teaching and tutoring for the last 49 years. I have written and illustrated children's books. My BA degree in teaching has enabled me to be an excellent teacher. However, the many years of developing my craft has given me excellent abilities in reaching the hearts of my students, giving them a desire to develop skills in the subjects they choose.
