I have been a step parent for for years to a child who has fetal alcohol syndrome, Fetal alcohol effect, ADHD and OCD. I have worked with her and a great deal of doctors to pull her off all of her medication. She is also attending a normal school. Many doctors may be able to give you medical advice, but it is not until you work with these children that you can learn how to handle them.
