Hi there! My name is Jeremy.
Along with my education, my experience(s), and my knowledge in many areas, it also appears as though I'm in a seemingly-endless 'learning mode' -- even as I'm typing these very words. My academic strengths and achievements include (primarily) criminal law, though I have also always seemed to excel in math (especially algebra), chemistry, and the English language. Further, the knowledge and experience I've gained through work include, most-significantly, strengths in the areas of leadership, computer science, sales, emergency services, public safety, and the specifics that differ local laws from those of the state and even from those of the federal government.
My most valuable qualifications, in my opinion, stem from what I refer to as 'education by experience' – in fact with two single stand-alone exceptions, I've yet to find a challenge, job, chore, or task that I couldn't complete successfully, most of which being presented to me while having little-to-no knowledge about the subject at hand. I've spent my entire twenty-few years on this planet hearing just the same, from everyone, over, and over, ad nauseum, even to the extent that some people express feelings of envy – an understandable and justifiable feeling (that's no more than human nature) when looked at from the other persons' perspective(s)... Unfortunately, on the flip side, it can make life itself seem overwhelmingly boring much of the time. Which is a big reason for my presence here!
FYI, here's a little fun fact:
In CA, the maximum BAC ("blood alcohol concentration") a person can legally have while simultaneously operating a motor vehicle, contrary to popular belief, is 0.00% as defined in the California Vehicle Code, § 23152(a). Additionally, no person shall operate a motor vehicle while said person has a BAC of 0.08% or more, as defined in CVC § 23152(b); you'll likely be charged with both offenses, but the Superior Court will usually 'do you a favor' and drop the first charge, if you don't contest the charges (and I've been there too -- but there's [almost] always a loophole...)
Talk to you soon!
Jeremy
